We packed everything we could in the three days we spent in this wonderful city!

We were itching to get away so we decided we'd take a weekend trip to San Antonio, Texas (which is about four hours from where we live). We had such a good time! This city had so much to offer and so many family oriented activities for the kids. I'll give you the rundown below!
The Riverwalk
The boat ride on the Riverwalk was very relaxing. I could have stayed on that boat forever. Although I loved the boat ride, the rest of the Riverwalk was a little more chaotic than I would have liked. Due to poor planning on my part, we were there Father's Day weekend and it was packed! Every restaurant we stopped at had at least a two hour wait. If you don't like large crowds, I suggest not going on a holiday weekend.
I wasn't the only one who thought the boat ride was relaxing...LOL.
The kids and I spent the day at the Doseum while Husband finished up on some work. It was such a cool place. The kids had a blast! There was something to do around every corner and best of all, it was educational.

Journey's favorite part was the Kiddie Town and the Robots! Kiddie Town is exactly what it sounds like...a town made for kids. Everything was "kids size." It included a grocery store, an airport (with airplane), a trolley, a cool construction site, a carwash, a vet, and even a Whataburger! We were in there for hours.
The boys loved the target practice (which was really a lesson on physics).

I have tons more videos and pictures of this place. If you want to see more, find us over on Youtube at Myers on the Move. Or just click here!

If you're looking for adventure, check this place out! We spent the entire day here. We did the 90 minute discovery tour first, then ran around in the Amazen' Ranch Roundup (outdoor maze and scavenger hunt). We grabbed some hot dogs and lemonades from the cafe and concluded our day feeding wildlife animals at the Natural Wildlife Ranch African Safari!
I highly recommend this place. You have to do this at least once in your life!

There's also ziplining for all ages, trails, obstacle courses, and gem and fossil mining!
There's so much more stuff to do but we were only there for the weekend. Bummer...but we'll definitely be back!
More to do in San Antonio!
