We get this question ALOT...LOL.  It's a very valid question.  There are so many reasons we decided to live this way but, I'll narrow it down to five: 

1. Our kids.  We have always been the type of parents who truly value family time.  Our kids will only be small for a short time and we want to enjoy every minute.  What better way than going on the road together and allowing them to experience life with us in such an adventurous way?!  This is something they'll never forget and hopefully show them that there's more than one way to "live."

2. Freedom. I cannot tell you how liberating it feels to just pack up and go whenever we feel like it.  We're no longer attached to any one place.  The world is our backyard!

3. Money. So, before we made this decision, my husband was fired (without a valid reason) and was unemployed for 8 months.  8 MONTHS!  We were forced to drastically downsize and really learn how to budget.  In that process, we learned we didn't need half of what we thought we did.  Once Hubby started working again, we got to work and started looking into a more minimal lifestyle.  And that's when we discovered the RV Life.  Our savings has never looked better!

4. Travel. It has been our lifelong dream to travel the world. We initially planned to do it once Hubby retired but, after Covid-19 forced everyone in the house, we decided, "why wait?"  We might be old and sickly by the time we retire.  Let's go!  

5. Adventure into the unknown.  We honestly believe that God has something amazing waiting for us on the other side of "regular life."
