My kids and I had a blast making these super easy Christmas treats! This is also a good way to get your kids out from in front of the television and engage in some special family holiday fun. Give these treats a try and tell me what you think!
Holiday Pretzel Melts

These pretzel melts were very easy and very addictive!
Ingredients:
1 bag mini Pretzel squares or rounds
1 bag of holiday M&M's (or regular)
1 bag of Hershey's Hugs
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil (if using foil, spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking).
3. Place pretzel on the baking sheet and top each one with a Hershey's Hug.
4. Place in the oven for 3 - 4 minutes (until the chocolate is softened but not completely melted).
5. Pull them out of the oven and immediately drop an M&M right on top of each chocolate.
6. Gently press down to flatten it.
7. Place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set.
8. Serve and enjoy!
Reindeer Brownies

Here's a couple of my kids' lovely creations! We had so much fun!
Ingredients:
1 box of brownie mix (I used Duncan Hines)
1 bag of milk chocolate chips (or you could use chocolate syrup)
1/2 Tbsp. shortening
1 bag of M&M's
1 bag of mini pretzel rounds
1 package of candy eyeballs
Directions:
1. Bake brownies according to package instructions.
2. Place 1/4 chocolate chips and shortening in a small bowl and melt on medium heat in a double boiler or just pop them in the microwave stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted.
*Or you can skip that step and just use chocolate syrup. The syrup will be very runny though.
3. Grab your brownies and began building your reindeer using the chocolate as your glue.
4. Have fun!
Fruit Santas

It doesn't get any easier than this! Fun and healthy!
Ingredients:
1 bag of green grapes
2-3 bananas
1 lb package of strawberries
1 package of toothpicks
Directions:
1. Rinse your grapes and strawberries under running water.
2. Pat dry with a paper towel.
3. Cut the tops of the strawberries so that they are flat on top.
4. Slice up your bananas and place on a plate along with your grapes and strawberries.
5. Stick a toothpick through the bottom of the grapes.
6. Slide a banana slice and a strawberry (flat side down) down on the toothpick with the grape.
7. Cut a couple of your banana slices into fourths (for the top of the "hat").
8. Place the small banana piece on the top.
*You may have to use two toothpicks depending on the size of your fruit. Place one toothpick through the bottom and one through the top to keep them together.
9. Serve and enjoy!!!
